Krasnodar, August 5. The Governor of Krasnodar Krai is currently on a working visit to Armavir, accompanied by deputies and regional government officials.
According to the press service of the Kuban administration, during the trip, he plans to meet with local residents.
– I am spending my working day in Armavir. This is one of the key industrial municipalities in the region. In recent years, factories have been actively revived here, and one of the nine industrial parks in Kuban, accredited by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, has been established. The region’s first industrial technopark is operational. I plan to visit city-forming enterprises. The municipality is large, with almost 204,000 residents. Of course, there are challenges. During the meeting with local leaders, we will discuss how to address them, – wrote the head of the region.
Based on the comprehensive assessment of socio-economic development, Armavir ranked third in the region in 2024. The city’s economy accounts for 2.6% of the total volume of key industries in the region, equivalent to over 182 billion rubles. Armavir’s economic growth rate is 193.8%, significantly exceeding the regional average.
