As of 9:15 AM, seven departing flights from the resort city’s airport have been delayed for more than two hours.
On Tuesday, July 22, airlines continue to stabilize their flight schedules due to operational restrictions at Moscow airports.
Flight delays occurred due to the late arrival of aircraft from other regions. Additionally, two flights have been delayed due to operational reasons by the carriers.
Currently, the resort city’s airport is operating normally and handling flights in order of priority.
According to online departure boards as of 8:45 AM on July 22, there were 18 departing flights and 21 arriving flights at Sochi Airport. The schedule changes were caused by restrictions imposed on July 21 and 22 at airports in Moscow, Kaluga, Samara, Saratov, and Nizhny Novgorod.
