The October District Court of Krasnodar ordered the arrest of Krymsky District Head Sergey Les on October 12.

The municipal leader is accused of abuse of official authority resulting in serious consequences.

According to court documents, while serving as head of Krymsky District from January to March 2024, Les instructed a subordinate to execute purchase and sale agreements for land plots with individuals he specified under preferential terms without conducting auctions, at prices substantially below market value.

The court ruled to arrest Sergey Les for 1 month and 18 days – until November 29.

Sergey Les served as deputy and first deputy head of Krymsky District since 2014. In 2017, he assumed the position of head of the municipal formation.

A criminal case for abuse of official authority was previously initiated regarding property relations in Krymsky District involving Elena Samygina.
