The tragedy occurred around 10:00 PM at the “Vitaminny” siding, 1608 km.
According to preliminary information, the “Anapa-Moscow” passenger train struck a man who was crossing the railway tracks at an unauthorized location and did not react to the audible signals given by the train engineer.
As a result, the 25-year-old man died at the scene from his injuries.
Transport police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the investigation.
