Tebing Tinggi.
The Mayor of Tebing Tinggi reminded all officials within the Tebing Tinggi City Government not to create difficulties for investors who want to invest capital and contribute to regional development.

He emphasized that ease of service for investors is crucial to encourage an increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD) and to open up job opportunities for the community.
«Do not let Tebing Tinggi become a dead city. Let us support investors so they are willing to invest for the improvement of PAD and the creation of jobs,» he said.
Since being inaugurated as mayor, he stated he has continuously strived to improve development by implementing budget efficiency.
One method is by reallocating budgets for official travel of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) and the procurement of smart boards to more priority development sectors.
«Initially, we were indeed confused due to budget limitations. But we sought solutions by shifting expenditure items that could be postponed so that development could continue,» he explained.
He asserted that within the first year of his leadership, tangible development in Tebing Tinggi City must already be visible.
According to him, development is an important indicator of a region’s success in improving community welfare.
He also opened the widest possible space for the press to provide criticism and input on the running of the government, as long as it is conveyed in a balanced manner, based on data, and is not personal in nature.
«I am very happy to be criticized, but the criticism must be constructive, not cornering, let alone done brutally. The media is a form of social control, please give suggestions for the progress of this city,» he said.
He also requested the Communication and Information Office (Kominfo) to remain open in receiving criticism and aspirations from the community, and to convey accurate information to the public.
«Please report the truth to the community, not misleading information. Let us together guard so that Tebing Tinggi City can progress and develop,» he concluded.
