MANILA, Philippines — PAGASA is currently monitoring Typhoon Nando, which is threatening to become a super typhoon.
The typhoon has maintained its strength while in the eastern part of the country. Nando was spotted 1,335 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
The typhoon is moving slowly northwestward with winds of 55 kph and gusts of 70 kph.
PAGASA warns that Nando, currently still in the Philippine Sea, could still intensify.
