Kris Aquino has revealed that she will enter six months of preventive isolation as part of her ongoing fight against multiple autoimmune diseases.

On Instagram, the Queen of All Media shared that her autoimmune diseases “were increasing in number,” forcing her to make a “brave choice.”

“Trust me, it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me,” she wrote.

Kris also shared that she recently spent almost two months at a private beach property owned by a “kind and generous” family who wanted her to focus on recovery and faith.

It was during this time that she decided to proceed with another round of powerful immunosuppressant infusion, which spans six to eight hours, combined with two other medications, one taken daily and another via injection.

Kris said that the treatments will “totally wipe out” her immunity, so she has to isolate for at least six months.

“I’ll live in our compound in Tarlac; my Cojuangco cousins and I fondly call it Alto,” she said.

“Please continue praying, I really need it,” she added.

In April, Kris revealed that she has been battling health issues.

In February, Kris made her first public appearance to attend the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night and showed support for her friend Michael Leyva.

Alto

“Alto” likely refers to **Alto de la Alianza**, a historical site in Tacna, Peru, commemorating the 1880 Battle of Tacna during the War of the Pacific. It honors the sacrifice of Peruvian and Bolivian forces against Chile. Today, it features a monument and museum, symbolizing regional pride and remembrance.
