The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the country.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast at 4 p.m. Saturday, the Southwest Monsoon will cause occasional rains over Ilocos Sur, La Union, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro, and cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, the rest of the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of MIMAROPA.

It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be expected over Extreme Northern Luzon.

The rest of Luzon will expect moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
