Ninong Ry is looking for a new location to set up his studio after enduring the floods caused by simultaneous storms and the Southwest Monsoon.
On Facebook, the popular food vlogger said it was too exhausting to even consider going through the same ordeal again.
“So much time, energy, and money are wasted every time this happens, so I think it’s time. It’s probably time for us to find a new studio,” he added.
“If any of you know a possible relocation spot—maybe a house or any space we can convert into a studio—please let me know,” he said, mentioning his preference for a place with parking, preferably near Malabon, so his team, likely residents of the area, won’t have difficulty commuting.
“Hopefully, it won’t flood as much,” he added.
In 2024, he faced a similar situation when his Malabon home was flooded due to heavy rains.
Ninong Ry shared that he initially wanted to stay because he believed the location was lucky. “But if you believe in luck, shouldn’t you also believe in bad luck? Maybe this is it,” he said.
Metro Manila and nearby provinces were submerged in floods after continuous rains from simultaneous typhoons and the Southwest Monsoon. Water releases from dams worsened the flooding.
