Bani Walid, May 21, 2026 – The Office of Neighborhood Representatives and Districts at the Ministry of Local Government, in coordination with the Office of Neighborhood Representatives and Districts at the Bani Walid Municipality, organized an awareness workshop titled: “Conflict Resolution and Arbitration Rulings in Light of the Tasks Assigned to Neighborhood Representatives.” This was part of the ministry’s efforts to support social peace and enhance the role of local administration in addressing community issues.

The workshop, targeting neighborhood representatives in the municipality, covered several topics related to dispute resolution mechanisms, arbitration rulings, and ways to activate the vital role of neighborhood representatives in bridging viewpoints, reconciling differences, and resolving conflicts amicably, in accordance with legal frameworks and regulatory controls stipulated in current legislation and regulations.

The workshop saw active participation from neighborhood representatives in the Bani Walid Municipality, along with the presence of the advisor to the Office of Neighborhood Representatives and Districts at the ministry, who emphasized the importance of enhancing the capabilities of neighborhood representatives and developing their skills to contribute to consolidating community stability and supporting local reconciliation efforts.

This workshop is part of the awareness programs and activities implemented by the Ministry of Local Government aimed at improving the performance of neighborhood representatives and empowering them to carry out their tasks in a way that enhances community communication and preserves the social fabric.
