Tripoli – The head of the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority announced on Thursday that a final date for issuing the conclusive results of the investigation into the crash of the aircraft carrying Team Mohammed Al-Haddad and his companions cannot be determined. The incident occurred on the 23rd of last month over Turkish territory.
He explained during a press conference held in Tripoli that the process of analyzing the black box data may require additional time due to the possibility of it being damaged. He noted that field and technical investigations typically last for at least one year before the final results are announced.
The head of the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the commitment to inform the public of the results as soon as the investigation is completed, emphasizing the importance of adhering to accuracy and transparency in all stages of the technical and judicial investigation to ensure the credibility of the findings.
