2,000 yen worth of digital coupons available for use in Yokohama Chinatown

The Yokohama Chinatown Development Association Cooperative, which includes restaurants and other businesses in Yokohama Chinatown (Naka Ward, Yokohama), has released a premium digital voucher called “I Love Chinatown Coupon.” For ¥10,000, customers can purchase ¥12,000 worth of goods. Only 2,500 coupons are available, and sales will end once they are sold out.
The e-money-style coupons can be used from August 1 to October 31 at 135 participating stores, including restaurants, souvenir shops, and relaxation facilities in Yokohama Chinatown. The 20% premium and other expenses are covered by subsidies from the City of Yokohama, with the cooperative supplementing part of the cost.
“Based on feedback from previous buyers, we have allowed each person to purchase up to two coupons. We hope families and friends can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine and services together,” said a representative from the cooperative. For details and purchases, visit the cooperative’s website.
