In an incident last November where a man was stabbed and seriously injured on a street in Sapporo’s Toyohira Ward, the Hokkaido Police Organized Crime Control Division 1 and the Sapporo Toyohira Police Station arrested two suspects on the 8th on suspicion of attempted murder: Aisei Shironai (51), a yakuza executive and unemployed resident of Kamezawa 2, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, and Riki Serizawa (25), a self-proclaimed company executive from Atsubetsu Nishi 1-3, Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo. The number of arrests in the case has reached nine.
