The body was found on a mountain path in Makomanai, Minami Ward, Sapporo.
Around 10:30 AM on July 26, 2025, an emergency call reported “a man lying unconscious.”
According to authorities, the deceased was a man in his 20s or 30s, lying on his back with some clothing missing. Death was confirmed at the scene.
Police are working to identify the man while also investigating potential foul play.
