In the Hokkaido constituency of the House of Councillors election, incumbent LDP candidate Harumi Takahashi (71) has secured victory.
Harumi Takahashi served as Governor of Hokkaido for four terms (16 years) before being first elected to the House of Councillors in the 2019 election.
She has now secured her second term.
