As the House of Councillors election approaches, a special discount campaign called “Election Discount” (Sengyo Wari) is being offered at certain businesses for voters who have cast their ballots. How does this system work?
At “RAKU SPA GARDEN Nagoya,” a hot spring facility in Meito Ward, Nagoya, the “Election Discount” will begin on July 20, the day of voting and ballot counting.
By showing a photo taken with your voting certificate or a polling station sign, you can receive a 10% discount on the all-day admission fee.
The seasonal rate of 2,790 yen starting July 19 will be reduced to 2,510 yen with the “Election Discount.”
“Since our facility is popular among younger generations, we hope this initiative will help increase youth voter turnout,” said a representative of RAKU SPA GARDEN Nagoya.
