Early this morning, the bodies of a father and son were discovered in a residence in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture. Police are investigating the detailed circumstances.
According to police, around 1:20 AM today, a 79-year-old woman discovered her 53-year-old son bleeding from the head and collapsed in their home in Inabe City.
The man’s head had multiple wounds, and a bloodied hammer was found nearby.
Additionally, in a garage on the property, his 82-year-old father was found hanged. Both men were later confirmed dead.
The family lived together as a household of three. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Police are investigating the detailed circumstances.
