In a case where a company president was murdered in an apartment in Tokyo’s Ota Ward, the Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a 45-year-old man, a sales department manager at the same company, on suspicion of murder. On the 8th, Akihiro Kawashima (44), the president of a company dealing with audio and other equipment, was found collapsed and bleeding from what appeared to be stab wounds at his home apartment in Omorinishi, Ota Ward, and was confirmed dead. Based on subsequent investigations, the Metropolitan Police Department has arrested Masahiro Yamanaka, an employee of Kawashima’s company, on suspicion of his murder. Yamanaka was the sales department manager at Kawashima’s company. During questioning prior to his arrest, Yamanaka stated that he “was dissatisfied with the attitude of his superior, Mr. Kawashima.” The police are investigating the details of the incident’s circumstances.
