TANGERANG – The Tangerang City Government remains committed to strengthening the prevention of corrupt practices by firmly urging a ban on gratuities ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah holiday.
The appeal for the ban is being circulated to follow up on Tangerang Mayor’s Circular Letter Number 4273 of 2026, which strictly prohibits the solicitation of funds, gifts, or holiday allowances from the public, companies, or State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within Tangerang City.
“We urge all ASN in Tangerang City to reject all forms of gratuity during the Eid season to uphold collective integrity. This firm ban on gratuities will apply to all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Tangerang City Government environment,” the statement said.
It was added that the Tangerang City Government has provided a reporting channel that can be used by the general public to enhance the prevention of gratuities within the city government. The reporting channel can be accessed via http://gol.kpk.go.id or email @pelaporan.gratifikasi@kpk.go.id.
“Reporting is not only available online; it can also be submitted directly to the Gratification Control Unit (UPG) of the Tangerang City Inspectorate, with a deadline of no later than 30 days from receipt,” the statement noted.
Furthermore, the Tangerang City Government suggested that the activity of giving perishable food or beverage gift packages could be channeled as social assistance to orphanages in need, accompanied by a documentation report to the UPG of the Tangerang City Inspectorate.
