Manager of PLN UP3 Serpong conducted a direct inspection of work equipment readiness during the Construction Services Equipment Deployment activities for Packages 1 and 2 within the PLN UP3 Serpong area.

PLN UP3 Serpong carried out inspections of equipment and personnel during a troop assembly to ensure all field personnel and partners are ready to perform their duties in accordance with occupational safety and health standards.

The activity was attended by PLN management, work supervisors, construction service partners, technical service officers, and field personnel involved in operational, maintenance, and electrical network development work in the PLN UP3 Serpong work area.

During the implementation, a comprehensive inspection was conducted covering personnel readiness, operational vehicles, work tools, personal protective equipment, and work administration completeness.

This step was taken to ensure all field work runs according to standard operating procedures and to minimize the risk of workplace accidents.

The Manager of PLN UP3 Serpong stated that work safety is a key aspect in every field work execution.

“No job is more important than human life safety. All personnel must work according to standard operating procedures, use complete personal protective equipment, maintain work discipline, and ensure every task is carried out safely, professionally, and with quality,” he said.

According to the manager, the routine troop assembly is part of an effort to build a sustainable culture of safe and disciplined work with all partners.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of PLN UID Banten assessed that personnel readiness and the implementation of safety culture greatly influence the quality of electrical services to the community.

“Every electrical job carries risks, so safety culture must be a top priority and applied disciplinedly by all personnel. This includes troop readiness, adequate equipment, and consistent supervision,” he said.

A representative from the construction service implementer stated that this activity should be a focus for all field officers to always prioritize work safety in every activity.

“With this activity, we are reminded that safety is a shared responsibility. Personnel readiness, personal protective equipment completeness, and compliance with standard operating procedures are the main things before work is carried out in the field,” he said.

In addition to checking personnel and equipment readiness, the event was also used to strengthen coordination between PLN and work partners so that construction and network maintenance work runs more effectively, safely, and according to company standards.
