Pharmacy Building Explosion Damages Homes and Injures 2-Year-Old Child
A powerful explosion at the Nucleus Farma building on Jombang Raya Street, in the Pondok Pucung area of South Tangerang, not only destroyed the building but also damaged nearby homes.
There were no fatalities in the incident, but a 2-year-old child was injured.
The victim is the child of a local car repair shop owner. Their business was also severely damaged during the powerful blast.
“I may not pursue legal action, but I ask for consideration for my 2-year-old child who was injured in the explosion, suffering minor facial injuries,” they said.
They added that the business had only recently been started but had already suffered significant damage.
“I just moved here from North Jakarta to South Tangerang. Then this explosion happened,” they shared.
It was previously reported that a powerful explosion shook the Pondok Pucung area, causing severe damage to a pharmaceutical building.
The explosion resulted in the front of the building being destroyed, shattered glass scattered everywhere, and the building structure nearly collapsing. A police line has been set up in front of the building and is being strictly guarded by local police.
