BOGOR – In an effort to maintain physical fitness and increase work effectiveness, the Indomaret Parung Branch held another blood donation drive. The activity took place in the office area located on Jalan Pembangunan Raya, Gunung Sindur, Bogor.
Dozens of employees enthusiastically participated in this humanitarian social activity, which was held in cooperation with the local Red Cross.
It was conveyed that the blood donation is a routine activity held three times a year.
“This blood donation is part of Indomaret’s National Program, which is also carried out by other branches across Indonesia,” it was stated.
It is believed that, besides aiming to help people in need, blood donation can also maintain physical fitness, improve health, and increase work effectiveness.
“Regular blood donation can improve mental and physical health. Indirectly, it can support long-term work effectiveness because donors tend to live healthier lives,” it was added.
It was said that Indomaret is not solely focused on its retail business but also cares for the community and the environment. This is demonstrated by the frequent holding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and regular blood donations.
“This is a form of our concern. We hope that the presence of Indomaret can be beneficial for the environment and the community,” it was remarked.
In that blood donation drive, 70 Indomaret Parung Branch employees registered. Based on the health examination results, 40 people were declared eligible to donate.
