The Chairman of Commission I of the Tangerang City Regional House of Representatives reminded all regional apparatus organizations not to become complacent with the performance achievements made throughout 2025.
According to him, the challenges of public services continue to grow and require faster and more innovative responses.
He assessed that several partner organizations of Commission I have indeed shown positive performance. Various performance indicators were achieved, including service innovations that have begun to be felt by the community.
However, the Regional House of Representatives considers these achievements should be a stepping stone to improve service quality, not a reason for complacency.
“In general, we see that organizational performance is quite good and there are many positive achievements. But public service is dynamic, so evaluation and improvement must continue,” he said.
Commission I of the Tangerang City Regional House of Representatives is paying special attention to the quality of services that directly interact with the community. Service speed, ease of access, and responsiveness to citizen complaints are points that need to be continuously strengthened.
According to him, the measure of local government success is not only about program realization or budget absorption, but also how the community truly feels the benefits of these services in their daily lives.
“Public services must be faster, more transparent, and easily accessible to the community. The presence of the government must be truly felt,” he emphasized.
In addition to services, the Regional House of Representatives also highlighted the importance of coordination among organizations so that government programs run more effectively and do not overlap. Strengthening human resource capacity is considered an important factor to maintain consistent service quality.
Commission I hopes that the notes and recommendations provided can be evaluation material for the Tangerang City Government to improve governance and enhance the quality of public services in various sectors.
