PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) Pematangsiantar Branch, through its Business Capacity Development (PKU) program, held the 2025 Grand PKU event with the theme “Healthy Together, Financially Smart, Simalungun Harmony.”
The event took place on Friday in the Simalungun Regent’s Office courtyard, starting at 08:00 WIB until 13:00 WIB. The 2025 Grand PKU featured various agendas, including the opening ceremony, singing of the national anthem, prayers, speeches, a symbolic presentation of Umrah travel rewards to 4 customers, an educational talk show on Financial Intelligence and financial literacy attended by 500 MSME customers, and a lucky draw. PNM also organized an exhibition showcasing outstanding customer businesses, where 50 MSMEs displayed their premium products. The educational talk show on Financial Intelligence and financial literacy was highlighted as key to business sustainability. Proper financial management, separating personal and business finances, and using appropriate financial products will lead Simalungun Regency MSMEs toward a “Financially Safe and Healthy” condition. PNM is present to create an ecosystem that supports the sustainable development of MSMEs until customer businesses transform to a more advanced level. This activity is expected to increase public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, smart financial management, and building social harmony within the community.

The Grand PKU event was attended by the Simalungun Regent and the Simalungun Regency Leadership Communication Forum. The presence of regional leaders together with PNM management reaffirmed the commitment to driving improved community welfare through economic empowerment, financial literacy education, and activities supporting community health and well-being. PNM is present to provide mentoring, financing, and coaching to the community, especially MSME actors and Mekaar customers. Through this Grand PKU, we want to provide a learning space, a health space, and a togetherness space for the Simalungun community. The Simalungun Regent expressed appreciation to PT PNM for assisting the economy of Simalungun Regency residents through capital financing and MSME mentoring. Through this activity, the local government is committed to continuously collaborating for MSMEs to upgrade, through capacity strengthening, coaching, and equipping business actors. The Simalungun Regent, the Pematangsiantar PNM Branch Manager, and other invited guests from the leadership forum, the Ultra Micro holding, and other strategic partners then visited the MSME booths, where 50 MSMEs received direct guidance from the regent. This event also received full support from the Indonesian Ultra Micro Holding (BRI, Pegadaian, and PNM) and other strategic partners such as BRI Life, BRI Insurance, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Galeri 24, Bank Indonesia, and PT Jasa Raharja, who attended and helped enliven the event. With the presence of the 2025 Grand PKU, PNM hopes that the Simalungun community can gain real benefits in the fields of health, financial literacy, and entertainment that strengthens togetherness.
