Medan. A man from Medan Johor was found dead, hanging under the Babura River Bridge on Abdul Haris Nasution Street, Medan City, on Wednesday morning (13/5/2026).
The discovery of the tattooed man’s body shocked local residents and motorists passing through the location.
The Delitua Police Chief confirmed the discovery of the man’s body.
“Yes, that’s correct,” he said briefly.
Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Unit Head of Delitua Police stated that the victim’s body had been evacuated to Bhayangkara Hospital Medan.
“We have just finished the evacuation; the victim has been taken to Bhayangkara Hospital, and his family is already there,” he explained.
According to the officer, initial examinations found no signs of violence on the victim’s body.
“There are no signs of violence. The victim is suspected to have died by suicide by hanging. He was a resident of Medan Johor and was found this Wednesday morning. The plan is to hand over the victim to his family,” he stated.
Police are still investigating the incident further.
