Several areas in Medan City experienced scheduled power outages today. The blackout lasted approximately 4 hours.
The areas affected by the service network maintenance are located in the Labuhan district.
This maintenance work will result in reduced power capacity from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time. This means power will be cut in the Medan Labuhan area and its surroundings for about 4 hours.

During this maintenance, the power company will perform:
– Network maintenance
– Tree trimming
During this power reliability improvement process, customers are reminded that if using generators, they should be separated from the electrical installation.
However, customers need not worry as if the work is completed ahead of schedule, power supply will be restored immediately.
