Depok –
With busy schedules and high stress levels from caring for children, the presence of childcare services is a breath of fresh air for parents. This need for childcare services became the business idea for a woman whose story has gone viral.
Social media is buzzing about the creative idea of a woman offering a babysitting service at a very affordable rate, only Rp 20,000 per hour. “Hourly babysitting service, book now,” read the post.
This unique service went viral after an Instagram account shared content encouraging parents to go on dates peacefully without feeling guilty about leaving their little ones.
Unlike conventional caregivers who are usually bound by monthly contracts with high fees, this hourly babysitting service is a solution for families who only need help for short durations.
The service offered is not just physical help in looking after the baby, but also provides space for parents to maintain their mental health through some quality time, while the safety and comfort of their child remains in capable hands.
“If I raise the rate, no one will order, even at Rp 20,000/hour people still try to bargain,” wrote the account owner. They have now set the latest price at Rp 30,000 per hour.

The post about this unique service idea has been viewed more than 724 thousand times and immediately received a flood of comments from netizens. Some were amazed and interested in ordering her service.
“Maybe this is what they call… There’s no such thing as it being hard to find halal work/income, as long as you’re willing to try, there’s always an opportunity, the important thing is not to be prideful,” marveled one user.
“Please have more hourly babysitters like this, Bogor area pleaseee,” hoped another account.
“If called to the house, my husband is in a long-distance relationship, I want some me-time to go out, is that possible?” asked another user.

The person behind the viral business idea of a Rp 30 thousand per hour babysitting service is a woman. This babysitting service began from a limitation. The 30-year-old woman from Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, initially wanted to work abroad.
However, because she did not get permission from her husband, she tried to seek her fortune domestically. Unfortunately, the work schedules offered by service provider companies were generally felt to be less flexible.
“Initially I wanted to work abroad, but my husband didn’t give permission. I already applied for jobs here, but there were no callbacks. The one time I was called, the working hours were all day until night,” she explained.
Not wanting to give up, she browsed the internet and found the concept of a caregiver, which many people hadn’t considered. She finally dared to upload her first video in August 2025.
A month later, she got her first client to accompany a mother after a minor operation at the hospital. From there, her service began to be widely known thanks to the power of social media.
