A round tofu seller with the initials DA in Depok, West Java, was arrested by police. The arrest was made after DA committed an act of exhibitionism while serving a customer.
The perpetrator carried out the act on Saturday at 3:30 PM local time in Gang Bakti, Pancoran Mas, Depok. Initially, the victims with the initials IA and GS were buying round tofu.
“Yes (the victims were buying round tofu),” said the Head of Public Relations for the Depok Metro Police.
Then, unexpectedly, the perpetrator exposed his genitals to the two victims. DA’s actions were seen by a witness with the initial R.
The witness then informed the victims’ parents about the incident.
“The perpetrator committed sexual harassment by exposing his genitals to the victims. The incident was witnessed by R (the witness),” he said.
After receiving information from the witness that their child had been harassed, the victims’ parents immediately apprehended the perpetrator at 3:30 PM local time on Jalan Kampung Serab in Depok City, where he was selling round tofu.
“The perpetrator was immediately taken to the crime scene where the harassment occurred. Then the Operations Team received the report,” he said.
The SPKT supervisor and the Operations Team immediately went to the crime scene and secured the perpetrator. The perpetrator is currently being held at the Pancoran Mas Police Station for further investigation.
