DEPOK (06/06/2026) – The State Secretary Minister, Prasetyo Hadi, issued a strong response while expressing concern over the continued prevalence of state officials embroiled in corruption scandals within the government. Speaking at the DPR/MPR RI building in Jakarta, he reiterated the instructions and stern warnings repeatedly voiced by President Prabowo Subianto for all state apparatus to avoid any form of criminal corruption. He emphasized that the war against corruption is one of the crucial agendas and the most challenging task that the current government must undertake, where the commitment to cleansing must absolutely be initiated from within the bureaucracy itself as a reflection of integrity for the public.

Prasetyo urged all elements entrusted with official mandates, from the ministerial cabinet ranks to the leaders of ministries and state institutions, to immediately conduct thorough evaluations and self-improvement. The authority stressed that all officials, without exception, must immediately abandon any form of governance or fraudulent practices that could potentially violate legal norms. This collective warning has resurfaced following a series of suspect designations against several public figures in recent times, including former leaders of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), namely Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, and Lodewyk Pusung, who were drawn into the vortex of alleged corruption in the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

Furthermore, this wave of anti-corruption cleansing also hit other ministerial posts after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named Silmy Karim as a suspect in an alleged extortion case related to the management of residence permits for foreign nationals (WNA). The legal impact resulted in his official dismissal from the position of Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Wamen Imipas). These latest cases add to the blacklist of law enforcement actions within the state official ranks, following legal cases in 2025 that implicated the former Deputy Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan alias Noel, who was entangled in an alleged bribery and gratuity case related to the processing of occupational safety and health (K3) certificates at the Ministry of Manpower.
