Monday, June 30, 2025 – The Depok City Government, through the Trade and Industry Office (Disdagin), held an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) socialization event for Small and Medium Industry (IKM) players on June 23–24, 2025. This activity is part of a priority program funded by the Depok City Regional Budget (APBD) to support the MSME and IKM sectors.

The Head of Disdagin emphasized the importance of IPR as legal protection and an incentive to improve product and technology quality. A total of 100 IKMs participating in the event directly registered their product trademarks with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

This registration aims to prevent plagiarism and legal conflicts between businesses while ensuring the legality of IKM products in the market.
