A video shows a group of teenagers carrying sharp weapons and setting off firecrackers on Jalan Raya Bogor, Cimanggis, which went viral on social media. Three teenagers who fled in disarray were eventually apprehended by police.

From the video observed, the group of teenagers rode motorcycles and passed through Jalan Raya Bogor, Depok. They were seen carrying sickle-type sharp weapons.

They scattered in panic when caught and chased by a police patrol. They also set off firecrackers, causing traffic congestion.

Cimanggis Police Chief Kompol Jupriono stated the incident occurred on Friday (18/7) at 20:00 WIB. Police initially received reports from residents and quickly dispersed the brawl.

“Cimanggis Police personnel who were on patrol acted swiftly to disperse them,” said Jupriono in a statement.

Three suspects were apprehended by police after the dispersal. The three suspects, along with the sharp weapons as evidence, were taken to Cimanggis Police Station for further investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit.

“And we secured three individuals involved in the brawl,” he said.
