West Java Province has finalized the determination of the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and the Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) for 2026. This decision was announced on Wednesday.

The 2026 West Java UMP has been set with an increase of 5.7%, bringing the amount to Rp2,317,601. A similar increase applies to the Provincial Sectoral Minimum Wage (UMSP), which is set to rise by 6.2%, reaching Rp2,339,995 (from Rp2,201,519 in 2025).

“For the province, the increase has been set at 5.7 percent (alpha 0.7), while the sectoral minimum wage is 6.2 percent (alpha 0.9),” the announcement was made at the Pakuan Building in Bandung City.

UMK Ratified According to Regional Recommendations

For the 27 regencies/cities, the path of certainty was chosen by ratifying all proposed UMK increases, including the Regency/City Sectoral Minimum Wage (UMSK), which were previously recommended by each respective region.

“For the regencies/cities, we are following or setting all proposals from the regencies/cities, both their regency/city minimum wage and their sectoral minimum wage,” it was added.

This 2026 UMK decision is stipulated in Governor’s Decree No. 561.7/Kep.862-Kesra/2025.
