“Metro Police Provide Wheelchairs to People with Disabilities in Health Service Event”
Jakarta –
A resident of North Cikarang, named Maya Rahmatika (19), has been paralyzed since birth. Maya is now happy after receiving a wheelchair from Polres Metro Bekasi.
“The police carried out a health service activity in North Cikarang by providing wheelchairs to people with disabilities,” said the Chief of Polres Metro Bekasi, Kombes Mustofa.
Mustofa stated that this activity reflects the police’s concern for the community. He hopes the wheelchair will help improve the recipient’s mobility.
“This initiative demonstrates the police’s care for those in need within the jurisdiction of Polrestro Bekasi. We hope this assistance will be beneficial to the recipient,” he added.
“The police also distributed Red and White flags to road users as part of the spirit of welcoming Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day,” he said.
The event proceeded smoothly. Mustofa hopes this initiative will strengthen the public’s sense of nationalism ahead of Independence Day.
“The distribution of these flags is expected to enhance nationalism and love for the homeland among the people,” he concluded.
