BEKASI CITY – The Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, accompanied by the Mayor of Bekasi Tri Adhianto, laid the first stone for the construction of the Kalimalang Bridge on KH Noer Ali Road, South Bekasi, Bekasi City, on Thursday (21/08/2025).
The Mayor of Bekasi, Tri Adhianto, stated that the Kalimalang water tourism development project will be built by a third party through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
“Today marks our commitment for 2026, beginning with the CSR provided by PT. Miju to build the bridge,” said Tri Adhianto to the media crew.
Meanwhile, the Director of PT Mitra Patriot, David Rahardja, said the bridge construction is part of the plan to develop the Kalimalang water tourism and culinary area, which will be managed by PT Mitra Patriot.
“I hope the construction will be completed by January 2026 and the people of Bekasi City can benefit from it,” said David Rahardja on site.
“Management will be handled by us (BUMD) PT Mitra Patriot. We are also cooperating with third parties for the management of Kalimalang water tourism. There will be a tender for third-party cooperation,” he added.
According to him, Kalimalang water tourism will feature various facilities for the residents of Bekasi City, such as tourist boats and culinary centers along the banks of Kalimalang.
“There will be water boats, and on both sides of Kalimalang, culinary tourism centers will be established,” he said.
