The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of comedian and presenter Nina Carolina, better known as Mpok Alpa. Born in 1987, she passed away on Friday morning at 8:30 AM at the age of 38 after battling cancer.
The sad news was first announced during a television program. Raffi revealed that Mpok Alpa had been undergoing treatment for cancer over the past few months.
“She had been suffering from cancer and had been in pain for several months due to her illness,” he said.
Several colleagues visited her in the hospital. However, during her illness, the comedian chose not to disclose her condition to the public.
“She didn’t want many people to know she was sick. She said she didn’t want to burden others,” he added.
Her passing has left deep sorrow among fellow artists and fans. As of this report, the family has not yet released details regarding the funeral arrangements.
