Thousands packed the main streets of central Bandung as the group conducted a victory convoy for the Super League 2025/2026 championship, Sunday (24/5/2026). Euphoria erupted since morning when the bus and vehicles of the Maung Bandung entourage passed by carrying the championship trophy resulting from a hattrick of Indonesian League titles.
The enthusiasm of supporters was visible along the convoy route from the Gedung Sate area to Jalan Asia Afrika. Fans from various regions crowded together to directly see the Persib players and coach standing on vehicles, waving to their supporters.
Persib coach Bojan Hodak became one of the most highlighted figures. Bojan appeared standing with the players while raising the championship trophy and greeting the fans who continuously chanted prideful yells for Persib.
The moment symbolized Persib’s success in maintaining dominance in the national competition. Under Bojan Hodak’s guidance, Maung Bandung made history as the first team to achieve three consecutive league titles in the Indonesian League era.
Throughout the convoy journey, songs and the waving of blue and white flags accompanied the Persib entourage. Many Bobotoh climbed onto sidewalks, bus stops, and road barriers to get the best positions to capture the championship celebration moment.
Police officers and joint personnel were seen stationed at several points to ensure the crowd flow remained controlled. Security measures were implemented considering the number of Bobotoh present was estimated at tens of thousands, filling almost all main convoy routes.
The Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, previously asked the public to celebrate Persib’s victory orderly and maintain mutual security. The Bandung City Government also implemented traffic engineering to anticipate vehicle congestion during the parade.
This championship convoy marked the peak of celebration for successfully closing the Super League 2025/2026 season as champions. Besides recording a hattrick of titles, Persib further solidified its position as one of the most successful clubs in Indonesian football with five national league trophies.
