The Subang Police Chief, AKBP Dony Eko Wicaksono, along with key officials and sector police chiefs, participated in an online socialization event for the Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperative Program via Zoom Meeting. The event featured the Secretary of the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives, Ahmad Zabadi, as the speaker and took place at the Patriatama Hall of the Subang Police Station.

AKBP Eko stated that the program aims to establish cooperatives in every village as a strategic step to enhance food security and community economic resilience. The cooperative business units include grocery stores, village pharmacies, clinics, savings and loans, and logistics warehouses.

The launch of the Red and White Village Cooperative Program is a strategic government initiative to build economic strength from the village and sub-district levels. This program is an implementation of President Prabowo’s Asta Cita, which seeks to boost the local economy to support national social and economic resilience.

Through a cooperative system based on mutual cooperation, the program is expected to strengthen village self-sufficiency, maintain food security, and reduce poverty rates.

“By activating cooperatives in all regions, the community can gain fairer and more sustainable access to various resources,” he explained.

Eko also emphasized the importance of guidance from sector police officers and community policing officers, as well as efforts to prevent thuggery during implementation.

“This aligns with the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation,” concluded AKBP Eko.
