SINGAPORE— PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BRI, has once again gained international recognition by winning the Best Private Bank in Indonesia award at the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2026, organized in Singapore (June 4). The award acknowledges the transformation of BRI’s wealth management, which continues to be strengthened to meet customer needs, particularly in the affluent and high net worth individuals segments.
In its assessment, the award highlighted the success of BRI’s wealth management transformation through the Wealth Ecosystem Transformation initiative, which strengthens the advisory approach and customer experience. This transformation has driven a 280.68% growth in new investors and a 93.31% increase in mutual fund under management as of December 2025.
The Consumer Banking Director of BRI stated that the award reflects the growing importance of wealth management in assisting customers with increasingly complex financial needs. According to him, customers today not only need access to various financial solutions but also perspectives and guidance to help them make more measured decisions.

In developing wealth management, BRI prioritizes an advisory approach supported by experienced and certified professionals to assist customers in various aspects of financial planning, from investment and asset protection to retirement planning and cross-generational asset succession. This approach is supported by BRI’s premium customer service network, consisting of 43 outlets, including 2 Signature Private BRI Outlets and 41 BRI Priority Service Centers, as well as 152 Priority Lounges spread across various regions in Indonesia.
He added that a deep understanding of customer needs is the foundation for developing BRI’s wealth management and also serves as the basis for the company to provide solutions tailored to each customer’s characteristics and financial goals.
