Bandung

A member of the West Java DPRD from Commission V stated that the image of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (Demul) continues to soar. An August 2025 survey, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of West Java Province, recorded a positive trend for Demul.

In response to this, he urged that this momentum be used to accelerate development throughout the entire region of West Java.

“KDM’s image is soaring in the August survey coinciding with West Java’s anniversary, so I encourage the spirit of West Java’s development to be more vigorous,” he said while attending the West Java DPRD Plenary Meeting at the Merdeka Building, Bandung.

He emphasized that the development of West Java must be the top priority for the remainder of Demul’s term. According to him, development should not only focus on villages but must also reach the major cities in West Java.

“The development of West Java must be prioritized. I also request that building West Java continue to be carried out in cities across West Java so that cities become more organized and there is also an acceleration in village development,” he stated.

He added that the Provincial Government has many responsibilities that also apply in urban areas. Some of these include street lighting and the construction of pedestrian-friendly sidewalks. This is believed to help reduce the number of road accidents.

“The West Java provincial government has many responsibilities in the city, not just in the village, such as street lighting and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks to reduce the accident rate,” he said.

In addition to encouraging equitable development, he also reminded KDM to maintain his positive image until the end of his term.

“I ask KDM to maintain his image until the end of his term. With a nearly perfect score, strong and efficient effort is certainly needed,” he emphasized.

He also conveyed congratulations on the 80th anniversary of West Java Province. “Happy birthday to West Java Province, may it become even more special not only in the eyes of the people of West Java, but also in the eyes of all Indonesians,” he concluded.
