The Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, fully supports the upcoming major sporting event, PLN Mobile Jawara Run 2025, which will take place at the Banten Provincial Government Center (KP3B) in Curug District, Serang City, on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Andra expressed this during a meeting with representatives of the PLN Mobile Jawara Run 2025 organizing committee at the Banten State Building on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
According to Andra, KP3B is an ideal location due to its strategic position, complete facilities, and a scenic, runner-friendly environment.
“KP3B is great because the area still has plenty of greenery,” he said.
The former Chairman of the Banten Provincial Legislative Council (2019–2024) also welcomed the use of KP3B as a public open space for community sports activities.
Andra stated that such events align with his vision to make KP3B a sports destination for the people of Banten.
“I am preparing KP3B for public use in sports activities, as long as cleanliness is maintained,” he added.
Furthermore, Andra encouraged all parties to continue collaborating in the development of Banten.
The organizing committee representative expressed enthusiasm for this support and confirmed their readiness to collaborate with the Banten Provincial Government.
“Through this event, we aim not only to promote a sports culture but also to engage and empower local SMEs to stimulate the economy,” they explained.
KP3B was chosen as the venue because it can accommodate large-scale events, targeting up to 1,200 participants.
Additionally, PLN Mobile Jawara Run 2025 will promote a carbon emission reduction campaign as part of its environmental awareness efforts.
Event details, including schedules, ticket purchases, participant facilities, and running routes, will be updated through the official Instagram channel @plnmobilejawararun.
