The Mayor of Depok, Supian Suri, together with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and PT TLKJ, conducted a survey for the construction of a flyover on Ir. Juanda Street. The 200-meter-long, four-lane flyover is designed to alleviate congestion at the Cijago Toll exit towards Margonda and Jakarta–Bogor.
The construction is fully funded by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and is targeted to start this year. Additionally, the West Java Provincial Government is also planning the construction of the Citayam underpass and a railway crossing at Margonda–UI Street in 2026.
In total, two flyovers and two underpasses will be constructed with budgets from the Central Government and the Provincial Government. This project represents a form of inter-governmental synergy to address congestion and improve traffic safety in Depok.
