Manoj Jarange’s Hunger Strike Over Maratha Reservation, People Take to the Streets

The demand for Maratha reservation in Maharashtra is once again gaining momentum. Manoj Jarange Patil’s convoy has reached Mumbai’s Azad Maidan, where he has begun an indefinite hunger strike since 10 AM. A government delegation may meet with Jarange Patil this evening. Jarange Patil has previously led movements demanding reservation. Last time, the government granted reservation, but the court had stayed it.
