Major action has been taken following a dispute over Eid sacrifice in a high-rise society in Mumbai. A tense atmosphere prevailed on Wednesday in Satellite Gardens Phase-2 society in the Gokuldham area of Goregaon over preparations for the sacrifice. As the matter escalated, police had to intervene. Subsequently, permission for the sacrifice within the society premises was revoked. Additionally, in another building in the Dindoshi area, the BMC has withdrawn previously granted permission.
