The nomination process for the BMC elections has concluded, with a total of 1,700 candidates in the fray. 11,391 nomination forms were distributed, of which 2,516 were filed, and after scrutiny, 2,231 were deemed valid. During the withdrawal of nominations, 453 candidates withdrew their names.
