The flames of the ongoing war between the US-Israel and Iran in the Middle East are engulfing the entire world. This is because Iran has closed its greatest strength, the ‘Strait of Hormuz,’ through which a large volume of oil and gas traffic used to pass. As a result, many countries around the world were facing a crisis. Although India’s situation is much better compared to other countries, distressing pictures are emerging from several cities due to rumors spread by some people. To control such situations, a special campaign has been launched to collectively curb black marketing.
The campaign has appealed to people that there are sufficient reserves of oil and gas within the country and there is no need to spread any kind of panic, and those who are engaging in such activities also need to be stopped. If there is a petrol pump near you that is not providing petrol, or a gas agency that is not providing cylinders, you should take a picture of it and send it.
Send us pictures or videos
Become a part of this special campaign with the aim of exposing those who are profiteering by taking advantage of the situation. Send a picture or video of that petrol pump or gas agency to the number ‘9310497453’ and also tell us about your problem. The team will take action on it so that this emergency-like disaster can be ended.
Black marketing is happening in many places
In an emergency-like atmosphere, a major operation was run against rumors, leading to strict action against hoarding and black marketing. In Lucknow, rumors of oil running out caused people to leave work and reach petrol pumps, filling diesel in drums. Upon receiving information, the ADM immediately took action. A team reached the spot, stopped the black marketing, and an explanation was sought from the pump.
Meanwhile, in Bhopal, a major illegal gas refueling racket was exposed, where gas from cylinders was being filled into vehicles, even putting an ambulance at risk. A raid was conducted with officials, leading to the closure of several illegal centers, averting the risk of a major accident.
Lockdown rumors completely false – Government
Furthermore, a major statement from the government has also come regarding those spreading lockdown rumors. A central minister said that lockdown rumors in India are completely false and the government is not considering any such proposal. Amid the current global crisis, the government appealed to people to remain calm and stated that spreading rumors at such a time is irresponsible and harmful.
