In Delhi-NCR, the skies will remain partly cloudy today. The maximum temperature is likely to be 40-42 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature 20-22 degrees Celsius. Winds will blow throughout the day at a speed of about 5-10 km/h. This will provide people some relief from the heat.

The IMD has issued a heatwave alert today for Telangana, Rayalaseema, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. People in these areas are advised to avoid going outside in the afternoon and to drink plenty of water. Meanwhile, in Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, the weather will remain dry and hot.
