The superintendent of Baruipur police district, Shuvendra Kumar, has been given the responsibility of the wireless branch of Kolkata Police. The superintendent of Diamond Harbour police district, Ishani Pal, is being given the charge of Deputy Commissioner of the South-West division of Kolkata Police. The superintendent of Bengal STF, Parijat Biswas, is being sent to the Enforcement Branch.

After the change of government, the administration had undergone a widespread reshuffle. Those against whom various allegations were raised during the Trinamool era have also been subjected to disciplinary action. The SP of Jalpaiguri, Amarnath K, has been promoted. He will now be the DIG of the Intelligence Bureau of North Bengal. The responsibility of the police superintendent of Purulia, Vaibhav Tiwari, is also increasing. He will now serve as the Joint Commissioner of Police (Armed Police) of Kolkata Police. The superintendent of Barasat police district, Ms. Pushpa, has been sent to East Bardhaman. The SP of Bankura, Soumaditya Bhattacharya, is being given the charge of Malda STF. The police superintendent of South Dinajpur, Chinmoy Mittal, has also been removed. The superintendent of Hooghly Rural, Kumar Sunny Raj, is being given the responsibility of Purulia.
