The 405th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was celebrated.
Hyderabad, The 405th Prakash Parv of the ninth Guru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji, who spread the message of peace and communal harmony in the world, was celebrated with religious fervor, joy, and devotion at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Sitaphalmandi, Secunderabad, by offering Ardas before Sri Guru Granth Sahibji.
Under the auspices of the Managing Committee of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Sitaphalmandi (GSGSS), Secunderabad, hundreds of Sikh devotees and people from other communities participated in the grand congregation (large religious assembly) held at Chilakalguda, Sitaphalmandi, and offered Ardas before Sri Guru Granth Sahibji (the holy scripture of the Sikhs).
The President of the GSGSS Sitaphalmandi Managing Committee, Sardar Pratap Singh Osian, General Secretary Sardar Ranjit Singh, and other committee members stated that at the religious assembly, renowned and respected Raagi Jathas (Sikh preachers) performed Gurbani Kirtan and Kathas (holy hymns). These included Bhai Kulwinder Singh Ji (Kharar wale), Kesar Bhai Sukhbir Singh Ji, Bhai Jaskirat Singh Ji, and other esteemed Raagi Jathas, who presented Gurbani Kirtan (sacred hymns).
The Guru’s teachings propagated by them emphasized adopting high values of life and communal harmony, for which Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji had struggled. The Raagi Jathas highlighted how the Sikh Gurus dedicated their lives for national unity, peace, brotherhood, and communal harmony. They also urged the devotees to follow the teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji. Traditional Guru ka Langar was served to the devotees. Members of the Managing Committee welcomed all the devotees.
