Hyderabad: MP R. Krishnaiah has announced a Telangana shutdown on October 14 in protest against the government’s negligent attitude towards BC category reservations. In a press release, Krishnaiah stated that the shutdown is being organized with the cooperation of all backward class associations.

Krishnaiah mentioned that all political parties and current associations have been urged to support the shutdown. He said he met with Union Minister Kishan Reddy and sought BJP’s support for the shutdown, to which Kishan Reddy responded that he would discuss the matter within the party and make a decision.
