Hyderabad: The Telangana government has approved a temporary increase in ticket prices ahead of the release of actor Ram Charan’s highly anticipated sports-action film ‘Peddi’. The government’s decision is expected to boost the film’s initial box office collections.
The film is set to release in theaters worldwide on June 4, with special premiere shows scheduled in the Telugu states on June 3.
Increased Ticket Rates for Single-Screen and Multiplex Theaters
According to the order issued by the state government, single-screen theaters have been permitted to increase ticket prices by up to 100 rupees. Meanwhile, multiplex cinemas can charge an additional fee of up to 125 rupees per ticket.
Additionally, an extra increase of up to 600 rupees has been approved for ticket prices for the premiere shows scheduled for June 3. The new rates will remain in effect for 10 days after the film’s release.
What Are the New Ticket Prices in Hyderabad?
In most multiplexes in Hyderabad, premium category seats such as Platinum, Gold, and Lounger are available at ticket prices ranging from 420 rupees to 479 rupees. In many other multiplexes and theaters, ticket prices are set between 225 rupees and 275 rupees.

For audiences looking to watch the film on a budget, the city’s popular single-screen theaters remain an option. At Rama Krishna 70 MM in Abids and Sandhya Theater on RTC X Roads, tickets are available for around 150 rupees.

The advance booking for the film has received a good response from audiences. Despite the premiere shows and increased ticket prices, the excitement among viewers is evident. Trade experts believe this decision could further boost the film’s earnings in its initial days.
‘Peddi’ Features a Strong Star Cast
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ will feature Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and actor Jagapathi Babu also play significant roles in the film. Combining sports and action, this film is considered one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the year.
